Introducción
El Laboratorio de Aprendizaje y Comportamiento Animal de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, tiene como principal objetivo vincular futuros investigadores y proporcionar un espacio de formación a nivel teórico, metodológico y práctico, en el que puedan desarrollar y someter a prueba sus propias ideas de investigación y que les permita ingresar al ámbito investigativo y docente, trabajando junto con investigadores que tienen amplia y reconocida trayectoria en el área.
El laboratorio es el lugar ideal para realizar las comprobaciones de los conceptos teóricos de los procesos conductuales. Es así como desde su creación en 1976, ha venido apoyando la labor docente realizada inicialmente en la asignatura de Psicología del Aprendizaje, hasta la actualidad en la materia Técnica Fundamental 1 en AEC. De la misma manera ha sido y es un lugar de realización de pasantías, prácticas y sobresalientes trabajos de grado, tanto de pregrado como de postgrado.
El Laboratorio de Aprendizaje y Comportamiento Animal se ha consolidado a lo largo de los años como un espacio físico y académico en donde se hace investigación y se forman investigadores, puesto que los estudiantes de psicología tienen la posibilidad de vincularse desde etapas tempranas de su vida académica y desarrollar allí paulatinamente toda una serie de habilidades, conocimientos y características para desempeñarse como futuros investigadores.
Adicionalmente ofrece la posibilidad de que los estudiantes desarrollen sus propias ideas, lo cual representa una ganancia de incalculable valor para el avance de la ciencia, puesto que se fomenta el interés por la investigación y se abren nuevos horizontes.
Introduction
The National University of Colombia's Animal Learning and Behavior laboratory has as preeminent aspiration adjoining future researchers and providing them a theoretical, methodological and practical groundwork space in which they develop and ascertain their own research approximations. At the same time, it permits pupils to be associated with investigation and teaching fields while plying in conjunction with researchers who bear outstretched and acknowledged experience in the corresponding area.
The laboratory is the quintessential whereabouts to accomplish the checkups of the theoretical concepts of behavioral modus operandi. Thusly, from the time of its inception in 1976, it has supported the teaching endeavor initially operated in the subject Psychology of Learning, and up to the present, in the subject Fundamental Techniques of Experimental analysis of behavior 1. In like manner it has been locus for the accomplishment of internships and outstanding degree written dissertations, for both, undergraduate and postgraduate.
Over the years, the Animal Learning and Behavior Laboratory has been consolidated as a physical and academic site where research is executed and researchers are instructed, inasmuch as students of psychology are likely to be members of it since the early stages of their academic life while they develop a whole series of skills, knowledge and characteristics which allow them to function as forthcoming researchers.
Over and above, it makes available to the students the feasibility to develop their own ideas; what represents an invaluable advantage for scientific progress, and as a consequence encourages interestedness in research and provides untrained fields of vision.
